As in previous years, there will be a panel at the rear of the worship area, for those who wish to display a token card to their friends in the church instead of individual cards. A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped at the Christmas Fair. It was very successful, with a wonderful amount raised. Sue Russell.

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group met briefly last weekend and prayed that all those who came to the Christmas Fayre may feel an atmosphere of peace and love. We gave thanks for the fellowship and love we find at church and for all those who organise or are in any way involved with all the events and services which happen. We remembered those who are unable to come now because of illness and prayed that they may still feel part of our church family.

May God help us to be people of kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity.

We gave thanks that people known to us who have been through difficult times are now on the road to recovery and able to enjoy life again.

Please continue to pray for our troubled world, especially for war-torn areas and the consequent turmoil and for victims and their carers affected by the Ebola virus. May scientists soon find ways of treating this disease.
