Next Worship Meeting is on Tuesday 1st September at 7:30pm, at church. If you are a local preacher, worship leader, church steward, organist, PowerPoint operator, then this meeting is for you. Please book the date.

David Battye House Group will be meeting this Thursday, 3rd September at 2:30pm, at the usual venue.

Community Singers will NOT be practising Thursday 3rd September. Becca.

Circuit Service at Woodseats next Sunday, 6th September, at 6:00pm. There will NOT be an evening service at Wisewood on that day.

Weenies/Rainbows/Brownies/Guides will all resume w.e.f. Monday 7th September.

Harvest Festival Planning on Monday 7th September at 6:30pm (before Bible Study) we will be meeting to plan the Harvest Festival Service of Sunday 27th September. This year we will be thinking about the story of creation, so bring along all your brilliant ideas! Katie.

Ladies' Guild AGM will be held on Tuesday 8th September at 2:00pm. Subscriptions are due. Sue Russell.

Baptism Service on Sunday 13th September at 3:00pm.

Pastoral Committee Meeting on Wednesday 16th September at 7:30pm.

Macmillan Coffee Morning will be on Saturday 19th September.

WMVC & WEG. The Worrall Male Voice Choir is holding a concert on Friday 25th September at 7:30pm in Worrall Chapel, on Towngate Road, Worrall, to raise money for the Worrall Environmental Group, which works to maintain a good environment in the Worrall area. Tickets are £5 per person, from Bridget Manley (WEG secretary) / Donna Machin (WEG assistant secretary) / Ray Battye (WEG chairman). Please support this event. Ray.

Harvest Social Evening on Saturday 26th September at 6:30pm will include a Pie & Pea supper and some entertainment i.e. Community Singers' performance etc... Cost: £5 per person. Please sign the list on the welcome desk. Sue Russell / Becca

Our Harvest Festival on Sunday 27th September will be collecting for Parson Cross 'Share' (foodbank) again this year. Priority foods are tinned meats, tinned veg, tinned fruit, UHT milk, biscuits/crackers and tinned rice pudding.Thank you. Becca.

Chistian Aid. Avery talented and esteemed senior member of our congregation has donated a superb soft toy to the church. The toy is to be raffled during the month of September in aid of Christian Aid. Any 5 raffle tickets for only £1. Please see Pauline anytime during September.
