Bluebell Wood Coffee Morning. There will be a coffee morning in aid of Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice on Saturday 27th August 10:30am-12:30pm. There will be a cake stall, books, bric-a-brac and Bluebell Wood merchandise. Bacon butties will be available. I hope you can come along and support this very worthy cause. Enid.

New House Group for working age adults (but it can be flexible!) suitable for all stages of faith or no faith. Next meeting: 'Games evening' on Monday 5th September, 7:30pm at Harry & Wendy's house.

Room Hire Diary. In the vestry is a diary for church room hire and information of events occurring in church. Please do not write a request for a room booking before consulting with either Cliff or Stuart, as this can cause a duplication of rooms in use. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Elsie Pix wishes to be remembered to all her friends at Wisewood. Dorothy B.

The Methodist Conference 2016 unanimously passed a resolution calling for respect and tolerance in our national life in the wake of the divisive EU Referendum Campaign. It asked that a letter be sent to MP's and others in positions of leadership, via www.methodist.org.uk/nationallife which makes it easier, by automatically generating an email based on the postcode you give, addressing it to the correct MP. Alternatively, there is a link on the page to a Word document, if you prefer to send it via Royal Mail.

Methodist Prayer Handbook 2016/17. Pray with and for the worldwide family of the Methodist people. Order your copy of the new edition, today, from Dorothy Battye. The cost is £3.50.

Remember in your prayers all our brothers and sisters unable to attend our services, either through illness, presently or recently in hospital, housebound or in residential homes.

Chigung. No classes until Tuesday 13th September. Phil.
