Elections - The church is again being used as a polling station for the mayoral election on Thursday 3rd May. We are asked not to enter the building on that day, unless coming to vote. Art group, Community Choir, Karate and Banner Group have been cancelled on that day. Thank you.

Circuit Information - For a trial period, the online circuit notices will be printed out and six copies placed on the vestibule desk for you to read or even take home. Circuit news comes out fortnightly. Please give me any feedback. Stuart R.

Evening Services - Last week, the Church Council agreed to make a change to the evening worship at Wisewood. From July, there will be only one evening service per month, on the last Sunday. As numbers have fallen, on 29th July there will be a more informal service in the vestibule. This will be led by Rev. Katie Leonowicz.

A huge ‘Thank you’ - The whole church family wishes to sincerely thank you for any task you undertake in keeping the church a well-oiled machine. From playing any part in the church finances, to ‘hoovering ‘ the vestibule carpet, from playing an integral part in Sunday worship, to doing odd jobs, from being a meeting secretary to keeping the kitchen tidy or from doing any small task which often goes unnoticed, we all wish to say ‘Thank you’.

Big Brekkie - Saturday 5th May between 9:00-11:00am there will be a Big Brekkie event to support Christian Aid at church. Any willing volunteers to help, please speak to Sue B. Also, if anyone wishes to deliver envelopes, please let her know as soon as possible how many envelopes you will need. Thanks.

DBS checks - On Saturday 5th May from 10:30am till around 4:00pm Katie will be in the office to do DBS checks. If you have a DBS or require a new one please come to see Katie on that day to complete one, or allow Katie to see your current DBS certificate. To complete a new DBS you will need 3 items of ID (a list of what these can be is printed and on Katie’s desk.) If you cannot come on 5th May, please arrange to see Katie as soon as possible. Thank you!

May Fair - Saturday 12th May 11:00am-2:00pm. The stalls for the May Fair will include books, cakes, cards, fair trade, plants, pound stall, raffle, refreshments (including lunches) and toys/games. If you have any items for the above stalls we will be very pleased to receive them on (or before) Friday afternoon 11th May. Please see Enid regarding offers of cakes. Sue Ro.
