Derek C. - It is with sadness that we announce that Derek died last Wednesday. Details of his funeral will follow.

Terry B.’s funeral (Sue’s stepfather) is on 6th July at 1:30pm.

Action for Children - Sunday 8th July 2018 - Gift envelopes will be available for your donations. “Thousands of children and their families are blessed every day by your compassion and love”. Thank you for your continued support – it will be most gratefully accepted. Stella.

Circuit Farewell Service for Rev. David Markay at St Paul's Methodist Church, 85 Green Lane, Dronfield S18 2LP will take place next Sunday, 8th July at 6:00pm.

Worship Meeting - Tuesday 10th July at 7:30pm at church.

Vivacity Choir will present their Summer concert on Saturday 14th July at 6:30pm, here at Wisewood Church. Tickets are £6 in advance or £7.50 on the door for adults, £3 for 5 to 16 year-olds and free for those 4 year-olds and younger. Tickets may be available on the door; however advanced booking is recommended. Tickets can be ordered on www.vivacitychoir.com.

David Clover Festival of Singing - The City of Sheffield Teachers’ Choir presents “Festival Showcase” on Sat 14tthJuly at 7:00pm at St. Andrew’s Church, Psalter Lane S11 7YL. Tickets: £10 adults (£8 concessions) available at the door. Light refreshments included. 

Magazine - If you have any articles for the summer edition of the church magazine, will you please let Stuart Craigen have it by Sunday 15th July at the latest. Email s.craigen@mac.com. Thank you.

Shelagh J’s funeral will be held on 19th July at 12:30pm, at Wisewood Church, followed by a committal at Grenoside Crematorium at 1:30pm.

Holy Habits - At a recent circuit meeting it was announced that 40 out of 60 churches have agreed to take part in ‘Holy Habits’ and this will commence in September this year.

DBS - Katie would like to have updated everyone’s DBS by the end of August. If you require a DBS, Katie is available on Monday mornings to complete it with you and will be in the office on Saturday 14th July, between 10:30 and 12:30 to complete them, too. You will need a DBS if you are a Steward, a Pastoral Visitor or you work with children and young people. To complete a DBS you will need to bring 3 pieces of ID. An information sheet about the ID that can be used, can be found on Katie’s desk in the office.
