'It is good for me to draw near to God.'

Psalm 73 v.28

To all our caring family at Wisewood. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of you, after the death of David. It meant such a lot to us. Dorothy, Alice, Helen and families.

Helen, Diane and their families would like to thank everyone at Wisewood for their kindness, support and prayers during Shelagh’s illness and at the time of her death. It meant a great deal to them and they are very grateful to you all. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the collection for Macmillan Cancer Care.

The Prayer Group is now meeting every Monday at 12noon, in the vestry. All are welcome!

Our first new-style evening service is taking place today, Sunday 29th July at 6:15pm. It's going to be an informal service in the foyer, around the table, based around discussion on ‘Life on the Frontline’ material and it's going to end in sharing Holy Communion. All are welcome! Katie.
