Hillsborough Churches' Family Fun Day is this Saturday, 22nd September 1:00-4:00pm in Hillsborough Park. As in the past, all churches have been asked to provide cakes and offer assistance in various tasks, especially putting up and dismantling gazebos. If you are able to offer a cake or assist in any way, please sign the sheet in the vestibule. If you are not able to help, please come along anyway to join the fun and enjoy the entertainment. In addition, if you know of anyone who may be willing to loan a van to transport tables etc from Sacred Heart Church to the park please speak to Margaret Parkin. Many thanks.
Wesley Guild will restart on Monday 24th September at 2:30pm with a devotional theme led by Marjorie C.
Pat & Trevor are celebrating their Diamond wedding anniversary on Saturday 29th September by serving afternoon tea at 4:00pm. If you would like to join them, please sign the list in the porch. No presents please, but any donations will be gratefully received and given to charities of our choice.
Monday’s time of prayer has had a slight change of time. A time of prayer and fellowship is now at 11:00am on a Monday. It is open to everyone and includes a cup of coffee. You may like to come earlier and help clean the church! Katie.
