May we thank our minister Katie for all her hard work throughout Lent and Easter and, especially, for leading and inspiring the Community Choir. It has grown tremendously since she took over and many people have joined from the community. It is lovely that she has the help and support of Lucy and Emily. Today the choir will be leading in worship. On 15th June they will be organising an event to raise money for charity here at Wisewood and we invite everyone to come. Joan B.

Thank you to those of you who expressed an interest in Teachers' Choir giving their Christmas concert at Wisewood and especially those who offered to serve refreshments, but it appears we have been pipped to the post. Bents Green Methodist, where we gave our Easter concert, have said they would like us to go back there at Christmas. However, Chester le Streets choir are proposing coming again next Spring to perform a joint concert with us at Wisewood, so that's something to look forward to. Joan W.
