The Salvation Army band will open the event at 1 o'clock and we are hoping Loxley Training band will play towards the end. As in the past, all churches have been asked to provide cakes and offer assistance in various tasks, especially general tidying up at the end, from 4:00pm. If you are able to offer a cake or assist in any way, please sign the sheet in the vestibule. If you are not able to help, do come along anyway to join the fun and the entertainment. Many thanks. Wisewood Community Singers will meet for rehearsals at Hillsborough Trinity Methodist Church on Thursday 23rd May 6:30-8:30pm.

Thank you to those of you who expressed an interest in Teachers' Choir giving their Christmas concert at Wisewood and especially those who offered to serve refreshments, but it appears we have been pipped to the post. Bents Green Methodist, where we gave our Easter concert, have said they would like us to go back there at Christmas. However, Chester le Streets choir are proposing coming again next Spring to perform a joint concert with us at Wisewood, so that's something to look forward to. Joan W.

Wisewood Community Singers are planning a concert for Saturday 15th June, here at Wisewood Church, to raise money for charity. Everyone welcome.
