Foodbank Donations - After feeding 191 people (120 adults and 71 children) Parson Cross Foodbank's shelves were left looking empty. All donations are much appreciated, but they are in urgent need of the following items:

⭐️tinned meat
⭐️biscuits
⭐️tea bags
⭐️pasta sauce
⭐️tinned curry and chilli

United Service at Hillsborough Trinity Methodist Church on Sunday 9th June at 10:45am. No services at Wisewood next Sunday.
Celebrating the Life of Grenoside Methodist Church - Open events. Coffee and refreshments available. Displays of photos and memorabilia. The church will be open on Tuesday 4th June, from 7:00pm for a 'Down Memory Lane' event, including slides from May Queen celebrations and historical footage from church musicals and concerts, on Wednesday 5th June 9:30-10:30am and on Saturday 8th June 11:00am-3:00pm. Their final service and Pentecost celebrations will be on Sunday 9th June at 3:00pm, which will mark the closure of the church building.
Tickets for Wisewood Community Singers' concert which is taking place on Saturday 15th June at 7:00pm at Wisewood Church, are obtainable from Bridget or you can ask members of the group. No price for the tickets but we are asking for donations for 2 charities of our choice: MHA and Toilet Twinning. The evening will include refreshments of cakes and hot drinks plus, hopefully, a fun evening. The more the merrier! Bridget.
