Hospital Staff Training MAPA (Phase 2) is starting tomorrow, Monday 24th April and will be taking place every day, up to Friday included, at church, 8:30am-4:30pm, using different rooms throughout the week. Thanks. Stuart R.

The Church Council will be meeting this Tuesday, 25th April, at 7:30pm at church, in the Owlerton Room.

The Sooper Troopers will be performing a play called “Life Journey” on Wednesday 26th April, at 1:15pm at Hillsborough Sports Arena, free of charge. Simon.

The Sheffield branch of the Gideons invite you to their Friends' Meeting on Saturday 13th May at the Salvation Army Citadel, Psalter Lane. The meeting starts at 2:30pm, is due to finish at 3:45pm and will be followed by a buffet tea. All welcome. Margaret.

May Fair will be on Saturday 20th May 11:00am-1:30pm. We would be grateful for any item/s you may have for sale. The stalls are: plants, cakes, books/toys, good quality bric-a-brac and the guides/ brownies. Refreshments will be available. We welcome your support. Sue Ro.

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group did not meet on Easter Sunday, as we attended the 8:30am service outside church.

As part of our worship we prayed for those who were not sharing our Easter joy, those who live in the shadow of darkness and despair, those who live with the hopelessness of shattered dreams, trust betrayed, opportunities lost, love denied, those who live without faith or hope of love, who see no resurrection, no hope of new beginnings for themselves or for the world.

May we show forth Christ's resurrection so that all who meet us shall know that HE IS RISEN INDEED.
