Your Church needs YOU. Yes you! There are a number of roles that need filling in the life of our Church. If you would like to know more about them, please speak to Katie or one of the Stewards. We need a Christian Aid co-ordinator and church stewards. Could you do one of these roles? More information can be found on the reception desk.
Stories for the magazine. We would be very interested in the stories behind some of the artefacts within the church / items of interest that have been donated or bequeathed i.e. the painting behind the choir stalls, furniture, embroidery, pictures etc... and how they came to be at Wisewood. If you have any information regarding any interesting objects in the church, or perhaps they have special meanings for you, please share. Thanks. Stuart C.
General Election. The Joint Public Issues Team have created resources, without Political Party bias, to help us Christians prayerfully reflect on the issues facing us. You can find them online at http://www.jointpublicissues.org.uk/resources/study-resources. Katie has also printed a couple of copies of a resource called ‘Faith in Politics’ which people are welcome to take home and use.
Polling Day - Thursday 8th June. The church is, once again, being used as a polling station. Please do not come into the church unless you are voting. Thank you.
