Prayer Group Report

The Prayer Group did not meet this week but please continue to pray for the aid agencies working to relieve distress in so many areas of the world, for persecuted Christians and for those mentioned in our Prayer Book.

After 3 years of civil war in Yemen, millions of people find themselves bombarded by bombs from the Saudi coalition or in the midst of fighting between warring factions within the country with no sign of a ‘let-up’. They are also on the brink of famine. Many are starving but the war is preventing the intervention of aid agencies which are unable to deliver additional food. In addition cholera is rife and many have died or are suffering, especially children. The situation is desperate as the country is ravaged by war, famine and disease. Please remember in your prayers the suffering people of Yemen and other areas of conflict and need. Margaret.
