Friends of Wisewood & District Community Christmas Tree Event HAS BEEN CANCELLED

No 6:15pm Service today at Wisewood.

Local Carols Singing. We will be singing local carols on Tuesday 12th December at 7:00pm, in the church hall. All are welcome.

Advent Study Course is taking place Wednesday 13th and 20th December, at 7:30pm, at church. The group will continue exploring Advent themes from the film "It's a Wonderful Life". Katie.

Nativity Variety Church will be on Sunday 17th December, at 10:30am and led by Katie.

Traditional Carol Service on Sunday 17th December, at 4:00pm and led by members of Wisewood church.

No 6:15pm Service on Sunday 17th December at Wisewood.

The Church Christmas Card Post-Box is for posting only to people who attend church and is now available. The last collection will be on Sunday 17th December at 10:30am. Please post early to help the sorters. Thank you.

HARC. The church will shortly be sending a donation supporting the work of HARC (Homeless and Rootless at Christmas). This local charity provides food and accommodation for the very needy over the Christmas holiday period. If you would like to add to the church's gift for this worthwhile cause, please hand your donation to Di or Margaret P. over the next couple of weeks (by 17th December). Many thanks.

Shoeboxes. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all who contributed in any way towards the tremendous contribution Wisewood has made to the Shoebox Appeal. More details in the next edition of "Branching Out". Thank you again. Enid.

Medicins Sans Frontieres. As in previous years, an area at the back of church will be available for those members wishing to send greetings to their friends at Wisewood. The charity this year chosen to receive donations in lieu of cards is 'Medicins Sans Frontieres' which means 'Doctors Without Borders'. Many of the doctors and staff, seen on your television screens, working in war torn areas of the world, are supported and financed by this charity. Margaret T.

Church Christmas Card. Thank you to all who have helped in delivering all the Church Christmas cards so promptly. Much appreciated.

Christmas Film / Christingle Preparation is planned for Saturday 23rd December, starting at 4:00pm. More details to follow. Katie.
