Gordon Adams' Memorial Service - Sunday 15th April at 2:00pm, at Brightholmlee Methodist Church. All are welcome to come and celebrate Gordon’s life.
Church Council Meeting - Tuesday 17th April at 7:30pm.
Thank you all my Wisewood friends who sent me cards and greetings during my recent stay in hospital. Following on from that, I received lots of cards and phone calls as I celebrated my 90th birthday. I'm so grateful for having wonderful Christian friends surrounding me.

Hillsborough Churches Together 'FREE FUN DAY' - Saturday 28th April 2018, between 1:00-4:00pm. As usual cakes are needed so that free refreshments can be offered. If you are willing to provide a cake or buns for this event please sign the sheet in the porch. Similarly, help will be needed to set up gazebos etc from 9:00am and to dismantle everything from 4:00pm. Help with stewarding some of the activities may also be required. Please come down to Hillsborough Park to support the event in the afternoon, if you possibly can. Margaret P.
Big Brekkie - On Saturday 5th May morning, there will be a Big Brekkie at church, to support Christian Aid. Times to be confirmed. Any willing volunteers to help, please speak to Sue B.
Also, if anyone wishes to deliver envelopes, please let her know as soon as possible how many envelopes you will need. Thanks.
May Fair – Saturday 12th May 11:00am-2:00pm. The stalls for the May Fair will include books, cakes, cards, fair trade, plants, pound stall, raffle, refreshments (including lunches) and toys/games. If you have any items for the above stalls we will be very pleased to receive them on (or before) Friday afternoon 11th May. Please see Enid regarding offers of cakes. Sue Ron.
Crucible Theatre Visit January 2019 - I have booked seats at £32 with 25% discount for the musical “Kiss me Kate” on Friday 4th January 2019 at 7:15pm. All tickets will be £24 if paid for by Sunday 13th May 2018. I can also book seats for £15 or £22 (no discounts) if requested. Cliff.
