Psalm 42 v.1

Prayer Time - On Tuesday 15th May at 7:30pm in Church there will be a time of prayer as part of ‘Thy Kingdom Come’, where churches are being invited to pray together between Ascension Day and Pentecost. We will start with a gathering time of prayer, then there will be a time to pray as you wish (which might be using the prayer stations laid out around church, or the prayer space in the foyer, using some of the prayers provided by ‘Thy Kingdom Come’, praying together with others, going on a prayer walk around our community, praying through passages in the Bible or through hymns from our hymn book or something of your own choosing – the space will be yours!). We will gather back together at 8:30pm for a collective time of prayer to end our time together. All are welcome! If you would like some more information please speak to Katie.

Pentecost Cafe Church - next Sunday 20th May at 10:30am, will be led by Rev. Katie and will include Holy Communion.

Circuit Information - For a trial period, the online circuit notices will be printed out and six copies placed on the vestibule desk for you to read or even take home. Circuit news comes out fortnightly. Please give me any feedback. Stuart R.

Big Brekkie - I would like to say a big thank you to all those who came and supported the Big Brekkie event for Christian Aid last Saturday, 5th May 2018 and an even bigger thank you to Julie, Colin, Jenny, Donna and Deb who worked hard in the kitchen to produce 43 cooked breakfasts in just under 2 hours! The amount raised on the day was £363.55, with more to be added via Gift Aid. Today it is Christian Aid Sunday, so envelopes will be available at the back of the church for those who wish to make a donation but have not yet done so. Envelopes will also be available at Cafe Church, next week. Sue Bagshaw.

Evening Services - The Church Council has agreed to make a change to the evening worship at Wisewood. From July, there will be only one evening service per month, on the last Sunday. As numbers have fallen, on 29th July there will be a more informal service in the vestibule, led by Rev. Katie Leonowicz.
