The Lent Group will meet again tomorrow, Monday 25th March at 7:30pm and every Monday during Lent, here at church, when we'll continue exploring reflections from the book ‘At Home In Lent’. Rev'd Katie.

Envelope Scheme - The new year for the offertory envelope scheme begins in April and new envelopes are being distributed during March. Many thanks to all members of the scheme, which ensures a regular income for the church. If you are not a member and would like details with a view to joining, please see Helen M. Confidentiality is always assured. This is also a time when we should prayerfully consider if our giving is keeping up with the church's needs. Thank you.

TASTE - Chocolate, eggs and biscuits will be on sale in aid of TASTE. This charity sinks wells for clean water in Nigeria. Margaret T.

Toilet Twinning: a wonderful scheme sponsored by TEARFUND, that as church stewards we agreed to support. We've just twinned our first toilet at Wisewood, it being the ladies' toilet in the foyer. 2.3 billion people (that is 1 in 3) in the world do not have anywhere safe, private and hygienic to go to the loo. Through donations from recent after service refreshments, plus a donation from the Benevolence Fund, £63 was raised which is the cost of one twinning. That is all it costs. The latrine is at Choma, Zambia. The money also helps support water and sanitation works in some of the poorest places on earth. The next step for us at Wisewood is to eventually raise enough money to twin all of our toilets. My next after service refreshment donations will also be for this cause. Why not twin your own loo[s] at home? I can give you details. Bridget.

The City of Sheffield Teachers' Choir is looking for a venue to perform their Christmas concert on Saturday 14th December 2019. We have presented our concerts at Wisewood many times before and like to come here, but the questions are; (a) would enough people be interested in a concert of Christmas music? (b) would there be a small team of people willing to prepare tea and biscuits after the concert? Please let Joan W. know your answers to these questions. Thanks.
