The 'Friends of Wisewood & District' group are organising a Fun Day for the local community on Thursday 8th August 11:00am-2:00pm. A variety of activities etc (for children and adults) will be available and all are invited. The event takes place on the site of the former secondary school (Rural Lane/Laird Road) and is supported by the Sports Centre, who are offering a free introduction to badminton, and RIVA, who will be providing refreshments - or bring your own picnic. If you are able to help supervise some of the activities, please speak to Margaret P. Thanks.
