Brightholmlee Methodist Church Annual Christmas Tree Festival is still on today, Sunday 15th December 12noon-3:00pm, for its final display of 2019. The festival will end with our Christingle and Carol Service at 4:00pm. There will be over 25 trees decorated by local people and we are raising money for 3 local charities. We hope you will come and support us! From everyone at Brightholmlee Methodist Church.

Advent Study Course 'Exploring our Christmas Carols' will carry on Monday 16th and 23rd December at 7:30pm at church. We'll be reflecting on the history and theology contained within the words we sing. Rev'd Katie.

Greetings to All - As we have done in previous years, I have prepared a place at the back of the church for members to send their ‘greetings’ to friends and, in doing so, give a donation to charity. This year’s charity will be PARKINSONS UK. Please take this opportunity to support the charity and send ‘greetings’ to friends. Thank you. Margaret T.

HARC - The church will be sending a donation to Homeless and Rootless at Christmas, shortly. This charity provides a safe haven for vulnerable and homeless men and women between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day serving three hot meals a day along with other services such as a hairdresser, podiatrist, entertainment and a selection of clothing. They typically serve 2000 meals over the period the project operates when many other agencies are closed. If you would like to support this very worthwhile cause, please see Di or Margaret P.

Amendment to the Christmas Postbox notice. The last collection from the Church Postbox will be on Thursday 19th December at 9:00am. Enid and David.

Knit and Chat Group - next meeting will be on Saturday 4th January 2020. Enid.

God in Love Unites Us (Marriage and Relationships Consultation) - if you were unable to attend the introduction to the report evening in November and would like a copy of the report and resources given out, there are copies available in the Church Office. Please help yourself. The next date for your diary is Monday 13th January 2020, 7:30pm at Wisewood when we will be having conversations on the content of the report. These are important conversations in the life of the Methodist Church, my hope is that you will engage with them. For more information please speak to me. Rev’d Katie.
